Pre-Nursery Section

We have included Pre-nursery education into our school beginning 2014 / 2015 school year. Our pre-school curriculum is crafted to provide high quality programs that lead to improvement in children’s development in all domains with particular attention to cognition and language skills, and the social skills.

Our Philosophy

  • DIS believes that the function of Pre-Nursery education is to develop in each child, self-esteem, a sense of competence, and positive feelings towards learning.
  • We believe all young children experience success through active learning opportunity within a safe nurturing environment to meet the individual need of the child.
  • We believe that a child learns best and uncovers hidden talents through activities, explorations that are hands-on and child-to-child interaction guided by qualified and caring teachers.
  • We believe that parents are pivotal allies and through the combined effort of parents and DIS teachers, children will develop intellectually, physically, and socially.
  • We believe that at the early childhood level of education, active learning through play provides the foundation for higher level academic learning.

DIS aims to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for your child and our qualified staff will provide the support and care for effective learning.
